G COACHING WEBSITE HEADERS (33).png

Whatever you might be struggling with during your journey, I am confident in saying I’ve been there too. After years of struggling to make my own progress with personal goals; always convincing myself that there was something wrong with me, I finally made a change that changed my life.

That's when I hired an online coach. And 6 years later, I still invest in myself and I can’t imagine not having somebody help me achieve my goals and keep me accountable, here’s how it all began…

Growing up I was an extremely active child, but when left to my devices after moving out as a teenager I lost all desire to exercise and was eating whatever I wanted. In 2013 I moved to London and it hit me how unhappy I was in myself, I felt lazy, demotivated and bitter and I finally decided I’d had enough. This was a chance to turn things around.

So I started going to the gym. I started eating better but to be honest I had no idea what I was doing. I read all the magazine articles, tried all of the fad diets and yes, I lost some weight but I became impatient and found myself yo-yoing. I’d try something for a week and if I didn’t get the results I wanted straight away I’d give up and move onto the next thing. I felt it was always going to be like this, always going to be a struggle and I had no idea of knowing what was true and what was bullshit. So I decided to take control of my life and educate myself so I could get off this rollercoaster lifestyle for good.

Training as a PT exposed me to a completely new world, and although I’d lost weight and felt confident with my progress; I felt I needed to go further. I was constantly comparing myself to the ripped fitness models in the magazines and thought people wouldn’t take me seriously as a PT if I wasn’t "shredded". That's when I decided to embark on the ultimate body transformation, a 16-week prep for a photo shoot. So I hired a fitness coach, set myself the goal to look like the women in fitness magazines and gave myself 4 months to hit my goal. And that's just what I did! But I took it too far.

I became obsessed with being lean. I gave up my social life in the bid for abs, training and eating clean. It completely controlled my life. But once I hit my goal and the extreme plan was over, I very quickly adopted an unhealthy relationship with food and fell out of love with training. I was in constant fear I was going to lose all the progress I’d made, and honestly? I fell out of love with the very reason that I started.

I started binging and gained a lot of weight back, I was constantly comparing myself to how I looked at my leanest and I would be so hard on myself about the fact I couldn’t maintain a lifestyle that was ultimately unsustainable...go figure!

Determined to get myself back to a confident place, I decided to invest in a different coach and do the process all over again, this time in a healthy more enjoyable way. I gave myself enough time, I trusted the process and I learnt how to be patient with my results. I achieved my goal of completely transforming my body but not only that, I was even featured in a magazine.

The biggest thing that I have learnt from my journey is that no matter how good you look, it’s never worth it if it is making you miserable or is taking away from the quality of your life. Sure, it’s a great feeling seeing those abs pop through, but when you have to sacrifice your social life in order to maintain them, you have to ask yourself if it’s really worth it. My quest to become lean opened my eyes to a lot of things.

It took me some time, but my journey taught me that what I was doing was not maintainable or healthy. Since then, it’s taken a lot of work, but I have finally found the middle ground. I train and eat towards my goals, but it doesn’t take away from living my life.

My transformation taught me so much about training, nutrition and everything in-between which is why I don’t just tell you how to exercise and what to eat. I empathise, I encourage, and I motivate. I have experienced both extremes, and what started out as just a mission to lose weight has turned into a desire not only to feel good within my own skin but to show others how it feels to feel good within theirs.

So let's become your strongest, fittest and happiest, together.
